Belvidere FFA wins livestock judging contest NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - The Belvidere FFA Chapter, Belvidere, N.J., placed first in the New Jersey FFA Livestock Contest held at Delaware Valley College, Doylestown. Forty-five students from throughout New Jersey judged seven classes of livestock and presented two classes of oral reasons which made up their total scores for the contest. Twelve teams participated in the contest. Warren Hills FFA Chapter, Washington, placed second; Northern Burlington FFA Chapter, Columbus, third; Allentown FFA Chapter, Allentown, fourth; and North Hunterdon FFA Chapter, Annandale, placed fifth in the state contest. The top five individuals in New Jersey were Jay Steele, Warren Hills FFA, Washington; Carol Shanzlin, Belvidere FFA, Belvidere; Janae Sinclair, Win a Trip for Two to the Our Grand Prize!
