On Friday, Horsman’s farm was the site of a soil and water con servation field day sponsored by the Calvert Soil Conservation District. Good farm conservation practices like stripcropping, grass waterways, terraces, grade stabilization and tile drainage were installed to solve the soil erosion problems that are robbing his land of its fertility. The field day, says Hagner Mister, U.S. Soil Conservation Service, was a way to show area farmers how to reduce soil erosion and increase productivity while improving water quality in the process^ c BACKHOE TIRES 14 9x24,8 ply ‘215.00 16.9x24,8 ply *230.00 17.5Lx24, 8 ply *240.00 16 9x28,8 ply *260.00 18 4x28.10 ply *350.00 WAGON TIRES \ 9 5Lx158 Ply y *44.00 12 SLXI6 14 Ply V 111x15 8 Ply *85.00 f *47.00 16 5x16 110 Ply 12 51x15 10 Ply *160.00 *74.00 ‘5.00 DISCOUNT '2*-' This Month! l< 400-12 400-15 500-15 550-16, 4 ply 550-16,6 ply 600-16,4 ply. 600-16.6 ply.. 650-16,6 ply. 75L-15,6 ply.. 750-16,6 ply.. 750-16,8 ply . 750-18,6 ply.. 9.5 L-15,6 ply. 9.5 L-IS, 8 ply. 1000-16,6 ply. 111.x15.8p1y . 1100-16,8 ply. 14L-16.1,8 ply Monthly Deliveries Available in NJ 1 * We Install Within 100 Miles 01 Lancaster & Harrisburg Delivery & Installation Each Week In • Sunbury • Williamsport • Lewistown • Center Hall • State College Mt.
