B. Equip., Inc. has been providing Franklin and Fulton Counties in Pennsylvania and Washington County, Maryland with Allis Chalmers products for seven years. Gibson completes 30 years The Alhs-Chalmers dealership known today is Gibson Farm Equipment Inc., of Ingleside, Md., traces its origin to Medford E. Coursey who opened an A-C store in Roberts, Md., during the mid -1930’5. In 1954 Edward Gibson and Courtland Brown purchased Coursey’s firm, changing the name to Gibson-Brown Farm Equip ment, and moving to its present Ingleside location along Rt. 313. Several years later Edward Gibson bought Courtland Brown’s p. 8000 Series tractors are available with a completely redesigned cab which offers 38 percent more room and 36 percent more glass area than the model it replaces. Two gas cylinder-assisted doors, low-level door latches, and skid-proof steps make the new cab the easiest to enter and exit on the market today. The new cab also includes several design features which make it cleaner, quieter and more comfortable. B. In 1977 new facilities were constructed to accommodate the growing concern, and three years later the firm was incorporated, operating under the name of Gibson Farm Equipment, Inc.
