Shine an nounced on September 2, a Class I milk price of |15.26 per hun dredweight for October 1963. This price is down two cents from the September price but is four cents higher than last October. Order No. 4 prices are announced for milk testing 3.5 percent butterfat f.o.b. plants located within 55 miles of Philadelphia, PA and also within 75 miles from the nearer of Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD. There is also a 6-cent direct delivery differential applicable to producer milk received at plants located within 55 miles of Philadelphia. Mr. Shine announced a Class II milk price of 112.60 per hun dredweight for August 1963 and a butterfat differential of 17.0 cents for the month. The Class II price is up seasonally by five cents from July while the butteriat dif ferential increased one-tenth of a cent. The USDA reported that the wholesale price of Grade A butter at Chicago for August was $1.4773 per pound and the nonfat dry milk price was $.9359 per pound, f.o.b plants in the Chicago area. ALEXANDRIA, Va. - On August 23, 1983, C. W. McMillan. Assistant Secretary, Marketing and Inspection Services, United States Department of Agriculture, signed a Final Order regulating the handling of milk in the Middle Atlantic marketing area.
