In an effort to help curb the county’s serious erosion problem, the Conservation District is of fering the use of two John Deere, 7000 Conservation 4-row Ma» Emerge drawn planters for planting into crop residue on a rental basis of $6.00 per acre for com (95.00 per acre if bill is paid within 30 days) and $8.50 per acre for soybeans ($7.50 per acre if bill is paid within 30 days). The educational demonstration project is designed as a management aid to county far mers in reducing soil losses to levels that will permit cropping ta continue for centuries without loss of productive potential. Many fields are losing soil at a rate that will greatly reduce their productive potential in years to come as soil depth is lessened. For all practical purposes, each generation has a fixed soil depth (and thus productive potential) to work with because the average conversion rate of parent material Feed Agway Total Calf Ration (TCR) for faster growth and earlier freshening At five days, start your calves off on a fast weight gain program with TCR I.
