Sen. Sam Nunn (D-Ga.), ranking minority member of the Senate’s Small Business and Government Affairs committees, will open the speaking portion of the three-day meeting on Monday afternoon, Feb. 14. He is expected to comment on the current economic situation as it affects agriculture and suppliers of farm production in puts. The Senate leader’s remarks will be followed by reports on the status of the fertilizer industry and its national association by Institute Board Chairman Judson H. Fredrickson, senior deputy governor, Farm Credit Ad ministration, will present a situation report on credit for 1983 farm operations. An analysis of the year’s market for farm inputs, such as equipment and fertilizers, will be presented by Dean F. McKee, a director, market economics, Deere & Co. Rolf H. Holzkaemper, president. Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Transport, Ltd., will outline the changing patterns of potash distribution. The meeting’s general sessions are open to non-members as well as Institute members.
