c BY DONNA TOMMELLEO FARM SHOW - Mildred Seeds’ horn-laden show string ot registered Jerseys found their way into the winner’s circle more than once, during the Farm Show’s dairy competition on Tuesday. When the dust settled in the large arena, the Dowmngtown breeder’s entries walked off with Grand Champion and Junior Champion honors and brought the Premier Breeder and Exhibitor awards home to her Chester County dairy. Show judge John Morris tagged Seed’s 4-year-old Advancer Sleeper Milestone daughter grand champion. Top-O-Hill Milestone Tempty was also named senior champion and best uddered cow. Top-O-Hill Glitter, a senior calf and paternal sister to f the grand champion kept the winning in the family and captured the Junior Champion title. The R.A. Sollenbergers ot Everett also compiled quite a winning record before the day ended. Taking several blue and red ribbons throughout the com petition, the Bedford County family capped their showing with an aged cow entry, Ralaine Superb Cello. Owned by Leon Sollen berger, the BS Noble Superb daughter captured Reserve Grand and Reserve Senior Champion honors. In the youth division, Marilyn Deaven of Fredericksburg won the Grand and Senior Championships with her 4-year-old Golden Faithful daughter, Faithful Advancer Coleen. Marilyn is a member of the Northern Lebanon FFA Chapter. Another Golden Faithful daughter, Top-O-Hill Golden Touch, captured the Junior Champion title. The 4-year-old cow is sired by Summetz Napoleon. Franklin County youth, Denise Martin ot Guifford Springs, Chambersburg, exhibited the reserve junior champion, Top-O- Hill TNT Carmel, a senior yearling.
