However, what many believe to be his most outstanding achievement began in March 1961, when Remsburg attended the Missouri Auction School in Kansas City at which time he decided to become a full time sales manager. Lebanon dairymen finished at 827 pounds of tat. Earlier this year, Barbara and husband Gary, Lebanon County’s Young Cooperators, attended a national cooperative conference in Fort Collins, Colorado. First place,in milk and fat for the 4-year-old division went to Brenda Lentz. She recorded 21,020 pounds of milk and 800 pounds off at on her 4-year-old Holstein. Brenda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert" Lentz, Lebanon. Following presentations by Lebanon County Dairy Princess Joanne Weidman and agricultural publisher Dieter Kneg, the membership elected three new directors. Alan Uostetter, Donald Hoffer and Kirby Horst were elected to replace outgoing directors Carl Heist, Irvin Horst and Marlin Getz. Hostetler is the only junior member to serve as a director. Horst is in tus second year of service to the club. The Newmanstown dairyman was the recipient of several production awards last year. Lebanon breeder, Don Hoffer will bring 10 years of membership experience to the board.
