SOUTHAMPTON - United States Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Richard E. Lyng is slated as keynote speaker for the 64th annual meeting of Interstate Milk Producers’ Cooperative, President Robert B. McSparren recently announced. The two-day meeting, November 19 and 20, will again be held at the ' Host Farm Resort Hotel in Lan caster, McSparren continued. Deputy Secretary Lyng will ad dress the 1,200 plus crowd at Thursday evening’s banquet. President Ronald Reagan ap pointed Lyng Deputy Secretary in February of this year. A native of California, he graduated from Notre Dame in 1940. During World War n, he served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific for 30 months.
