Thirty-seven members attended. Two new members were received. They are Elvina Murry, Conestoga; and Peggy Walluck, also of Conestoga. Members voted to donate money to the American Cancer Society, the Dairy Princess fund, Mental Health, and Cerebral Palsy. The next meeting will be August 15 at the home of Marian Click, Millersville. Members took a bus tour with Mrs. Lester Landis around the Amish Country. After lunch. President Jane Houser called the meeting to or der. Roll call was answered with “My favorite Lancaster County spot.” President Houser announced Societies 22 and 23 will go to Conestoga View on July 16. She also mentioned the various items that members could bring along as Bingo prizes. Members were reminded of the upcoming county picnic on August 4. There was discussion on im proving the attendance record of the working members. Nothing was finalized. The Christian Children’s Fund has given the Society a new foster child to support.
