Clearfield County crowns new Da* GRAMPIAN Ann Brink, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brink of Irvona, was crowned Clearfield County Dairy Princess, June 6, at ceremonies held in the Grampian Community Building. Brenda Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morris was named Alternate. Michelle Mc Clarren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McClarren was a par ticipant as well. This fall Ann plans to attend Altoona Campus of Penn State to major in animal bio-science. The Brinks operate a 450-acre farm with a herd of 100 Holstein cows. They currently are milking 48. The master of ceremonies for the evening was Bill Wise of Cur wensviUe. Lisa Wriglesworth was the en tertainment for the evening. She played the guitar and sang her "IDEAL 500" THE PLACE TO START WHY IT'S CALLED IDEAL songs which she had written. Lori Wriglesworth, the 1980 dairy princess, gave a speech about the activities of her year and thanked those who made her year possible. Mary Ann Way presented gifts to each contestant and gave her thanks to those who took part in the pageant. Miss Brink was then crowned the 1981 princess and was presented a gift of flowers and a scrapbook by the daily princess committee.
