Kimberly Jurkowski showed the reserve senior and reserve grand champion Alpine, LaFerme DeChevre’s Claudine, a milking doe In the small LaMancha show, Dawn Spitler, Newmanstown, tied up' the grand, reserve grand, senior, reserve senior, and reserve junior championships. Her milking doe, Kwik Draws Holly Hocks, was named senior champion and grand champion, while Spitler’s other milking doe, Talisman Daffodil, took the reserve senior and reserve grand ribbons. Her reserve grand champ was Gi Gi’s Jasper’s Karis Susan Miller, daughter of Ann Miller, Furlong, added a junior champion ribbon to the family’s winnings when her LaMancha, Rockspring Vermouth Vibrant, was tagged junior champ. The Nubian show, which boasted the largest entry numbers, was topped by Cheryl Eschbach’s milking doe, Wmtergrees DHJ Lancaster Fannins, Saturday, March 7,1981—135 The grand champion Saanen was shown by Rosemary Heff ner of Palm. The doe was a strong contender for Best of Show. Early Bird, also the senior champion. The reserve semor and reserve grand rosette went to a Hope and Farlee entry, Fox Hill Sun Vixen, the second place milking doe in class. Gail LeCompt was in the money again with her Nubian entry, Chris Newfashioned Velvet, tagged junior champion by Judge Holder. And Karen Pensack showed the second place doe. Larch Lane’s Burnt Sienna, to the reserve junior championship. Despite the small numbers m the Saanen show, the doe selected grand champion was an out standing animal and one which Judge Holder considered strongly for Best In Show. The cham pionship trophy went to ERL Hopes Harriet, a milking doe exhibited by Rosemary Heffner, Palm. The doe was also the senior champ. The reserve senior and reserve grand championship honors went to Gail LeCompt’s milking doe Yarrow Hill Hopes Tern. She also exhibited the reserve junior champion, Newfashioned Snow of ML Farm.
