Benner’s herd of 60 cows averaged 20,768 pounds of milk and 815 pounds of butterfat an all-time high for the county and the first to average over 800 pounds of butterfat The average for ail the 62 herds with 3534 cows was 15,781 pounds of milk and 591 pounds of butterfat. Shine Wednesday announced a November 1980 base milk pnce of $13.79 per hundredweight and an ex cess milk price of $12.48. The weighted average November price is $13.77 and the butterfat differential for the month is 17.0 cents. The base milk price increased seven cents from the previous month and is 74 cents higher than last November’s base price. The advertising withholding rate, which is deducted from the base and excess milk prices only and not the weighted average price, was 12 cents a hun dreweight this year com pared to seven cents a year ago. The gross value of producer milk during November was $63.2 million. A total of $552.1 thousand was deducted for advertising and promotion. Shine said that producer receipts totaled 460.1 million pounds during November, an increase of 0,2 percent from the previous month, on a daily basis, and 7.5 percent above last November. Class I producer milk totaled 234.0 million pounds and accounted for 50.86 percent of total producer milk receipts during the month, down from 55.31 percent in October and 58.53 percent last November.
