Delaware 4-H to receive $36,000 grant WILMINGTON, Del. - The Delaware 4-H program has received a $36,447 U.S. Department of Labor CETA Fund grant to conduct a youth employment training project at Ferns School near Wilmington as part of a program to provide more employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth. The grant was one of 124 given by the National Collaboration for Youth and its 13 member youth-serving organizations through a contract with the Office of Youth Programs of the U.S. Department of Labor. The grant was one of only seven made to 4-H programs nationwide. Those who enroll in it will receive practical vocational training in horticulture, woodworking, and general agnculture.
