Sterling Brook to host ag board picnic This is an annual and very popular event of the Hun terdon County Board of Agriculture. Formerly the Barrie Farm, Sterling Brook Farm has been in operation m Hunterdon for about a year, gymnastics, jogging and traveling. Oeb is a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church. It is a foaling farm, where mares give birth to ex tremely well-bred youngsters destined for competition at the track. A number of thoroughbred mares are also involved m the foaling operation. The farm is owned by A. J. Taub of East Orange. It is one of several farms, located in a number of states, in volved m the Taub horse breeding operation. Dr. Dennis Milne, noted veterinarian specializing in equmes and particularly race horses, is in part nership with Taub m the horse breeding endeavor. Dr. Milne manages Sterling Brook farm along with other responsibilities in the overall operation. In response to the question of why the Hunterdon location for the foaling farm, Dr. Milne indicates that the search was conducted in many states.
