In another bowl, beat together the egg yolks, lemon juice, lemon rind, and butter until thick and lemon-colored. Combine sugar, flour and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beating well. Blend beaten egg whites mto this mixture. Pour mto 8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350° F. for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
