Farm on Father’s Day, June 15, reports Henry Kuehn, Jr., Raritan Township, Chairman for the event. This will be the 10th Dairy Farm Open House scheduled by the Hunterdon County Board of Agriculture and the New Jersey Farm Bureau. The first three were hosted by the Kanach Bros., Jack and Jerry, on their large dairy farm near Reaville. The Kanachs farm over 600 acres of some of Hun terdon’s best land. The farm is principally dairy. Activities on Sunday, June 15, open house begins at 1 p.m, concluding at 5 p.m. Included will be demon strations of feeding, breeding, milking and care of the daily herd. A popular activity at open house has been the wagon tours of the host farm. This year will be no exception, says Chairman Kuehn. The affair is open to the public, and at no charge, says Kuehn. The farm is located on the east side of county route 514, just south of Reaville. Signs at nearby intersections will mark the -way.
