DAVID PICONE Kennard-Dale High School David Picone, the 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick P. Picone, R 3 Felton, is in his fourth year as a member of the Kennard- Dale FFA Chapter. During the past three years, David has par ticipated in a variety of supervised occupational projects. He has been a member of the scholarship and public relations com mittee, serving as this years chairman. This year he is also the Kennard-Dale Chapter reporter. His FFA achievements have included entering and taking honors in a variety of contests. Included among these honors is his third and fifth place finish in the poultry judging competition and fifth place in a small gasoline engines contest. David took first place honors in the York County Project Book Evaluation. In addition to his FFA activities, David is a member of the National Honor Society. He was a cast member of the Junior Class INC. David Picone play and participated in student council. David’s future plans in clude attending the Harrisburg Institute of Electronics. Chris V. Reachard CHRIS REACHARD Red Lion Area Senior High School Chris Reachard, a member of the Red Lion Area FFA Chapter, will receive the Keystone Degree during ceremonies on January 9 at the Forum building in Harrisburg. Chris is the 18 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ruppert, of R 2 Red Lion. In his four years of FFA membership, Chris has had an extensive list of projects, including swine breeding and finishing, beef finishing, poultry - layers and broilers; livestock judging, and horse judging. He has participated on the parliamentary procedure team and has earned the Greenhand, Chapter Far mer, and White Rose Degree. At the present time, Chris is assistant treasurer of the Red Lion FFA Chapter. In extracurricular ac tivities, Chris participated in 4he high school musicals, Oklahoma and Music Man. Penn State University is in Chris’s future. He hopes to study agriculture education and horse anatomy. Eventually, Chris hopes to start his own swine finishing and breeding farm. He would also like to raise horses. Naturally, Chns enjoys horse back riding. He also likes to work with animals, particularly showing his animal projects at com petitions. ►
