But hard work is rewarded and for Sayre Dynamo 441 G, a son of Ankonian Dynamo and senior herd sire at South Branch Farms, RD 8, York, his day came at the York Fair when five of his* daughters placed first in their classes and two were named champions in the Open Breeding Show and two were champions in the 4-H Breeding Show. Grand Champion Female honors in the Angus Breeding Show went to South Branch Barbara 802, a January heifer shown by South Branch Farms. Named Reserve Champion was JWH Erica 822, a Feburary heifer owned by John Holloway, Seven Valleys. In earlier 4-H competition, Timothy & Robert Kinsley, sons of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Kinsley, owners of South Branch Farms, showed two of “Dynamo’s” daughters to Champion and Reserve Champion in the 4-H Breeding Show.
