Top winners named at York’s breeding show *
SEVEN VALLEYS - It
isn’t easy being an Angus
bull, even with a harem of 80
females to keep you com
pany and a reward of a scoop
of grain and a handful of hay
each day. But hard work is
rewarded and for Sayre
Dynamo 441 G, a son of
Ankonian Dynamo and
senior herd sire at South
Branch Farms, RD 8, York,
his day came at the York
Fair when five of his*
daughters placed first in
their classes and two were
named champions in the
Open Breeding Show and two
were champions in the 4-H
Breeding Show.
Grand Champion Female
honors in the Angus
Breeding Show went to South
Branch Barbara 802, a
January heifer shown by
South Branch Farms.
Named Reserve Champion
was JWH Erica 822, a
Feburary heifer owned by
John Holloway, Seven
Valleys.
In earlier 4-H competition,
Timothy & Robert Kinsley,
sons of Mr. & Mrs. Robert
Kinsley, owners of South
Branch Farms, showed two
of “Dynamo’s” daughters to
Champion and Reserve
Champion in the 4-H
Breeding Show.
In bull class competition,
