Holsteins, Jerseys compete at ByKENDACEBORRY CARLISLE Champions in the Holstein and Jersey dairy cow breeds were chosen Tuesday night at the Carlisle Fair as the first of the livestock competitions got underway. Christine Gitt, 17, showing with her father, Robert, showed the grand champion black and white. The 17 year old young lady from Lat tlestown R 2, showed Jambo Dian Elevation, a three year old to the top spot in the ring. The cow had previously been named champion at the Goshen and Kimberton Fairs.
