PACA, ad ministered by U.S. Department of Agriculture officials, establishes a code of good business conduct for the produce industry. The firm may not conduct business under PACA until June 15,1981, and then only if a PACA license is obtained. The firms’ officers, direc tors, and major stockholders—Tom G. Pappas, Ms. Jacqueline Pappas, and Ms. Alea Pappas-may not be em ployed by any PACA license until June 15, 1980, and then only if the employer post a surety bond and USDA approves. Officials with the department’s Agricultural SILAGE CONDITIONER MOPRO 100 LIQUID SILAGE FORTIFIER A revolutionary new concept in improving silages. MOPRO Liquid Silage Fortifier is for mulated to balance the major mineral and protein deficiencies of silages. MOPRO is added at the time of ensiling and is applied by metering equipment with very little handling cost. MOPRO will not corrode mild steel tanks or brass fittings and has no free ammonia odor to irritate the eyes or skin. MOPRO is a homogeneous solution of ammonia salts, urea, cane molasses, and minerals (except salt and calcium) in an efficient liquid carrier, it provides nitrogen for improved fermentation in the rumen and contains a mineral balance of phosphorous, magnesium, and trace elements. MOPRO 100 gives a resulting silage of approx imately 14.3% protein. Manufactured By: FURMAN E. HENDRIX, INC. P 0. The firm also failed to give true and correct account, and to make full payment promptly for net proceeds of $8,159 for produce handled on con signment during September, October, and November, 1978. The department ruled that based on the evidence, the firm had committed willful, flagrant, and repeated violations of the act. Under PACA, all in terstate traders in fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables must be licensed by USDA. USDA is authorized to suspend or revoke a trader’s license for violating the act.
