>o4—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, June 23,1979 Virginville Grange meets VIRGINVILLE - The Virginville Grange met recently with 11 proposals for membership. Those proposed include: Samuel and Cindy Hamm, Audrey and Gary Moyer, Shirley and Marvin Berger, Dennis and Vicky Heffner, Faye and Calvin Rausch and Vema Rausch. The Youth met on June 12. On June 14 they put on a skit at the local mall. On July 8, the youth will go to Hershey Park. They will meet at Stuckey’s at 3:30 p.m. A bike-a-thon will be held July 22. Mildred Wessner received a calculator from the state Grange for obtaining members. The Grange served 360 pot pie dinners on Memorial Day. Juniors who won at the regional contest include: Kenneth Kerschner, Shelia Newhard and Eric Blatt. The Juniors will hold a day camp at the Grange hall on August 11 and 12. They will also have an Italian sand wich sale on July 28. Dresses made for the sewing contest were modeled at the meeting Each woman that entered received a prize. An art and photography contest will be held Sep tember 19. Election of of ficers will be on August 15. The next meeting will be on July 18, begming at 8 p.m. A hot dog roast will be featured. The roast will take place at the Fire Company grounds. A ball game is also scheduled.
