Blend in cornstarch with water and stir into beef nr: re. Add bouillon cube, soy sauce, and salt. Cook, au.mg constantly, until sauce is thickened and clear Serve over cooked rice. Makes six servings. BRUNCH BEEF SOUFFLE 1 pound ground beef or beef sausage teaspoons salt Vt teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon pepper 6 eggs Wz cups milk 5 slices bread, cubed 4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded 1 tablespoon diced pimento Brown ground beef in large frying pan; pour off drip pings. Sprinkle salt, nutmeg, and pepper over ground beef; let cool. Beat eggs well; beat in milk and fold in bread r>bes, cheese and pimento. Stir in the cooled ground beef. Place the mixture in a well-greased BxB inch casserole or utility dish; cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake in a slow oven at 325 Degrees F. for one hour and 10 minutes. Separate refrigerator biscuits and flatten each to 3'/z inches diameter. Sprinkle about Va teaspoon of wheat germ on half of the biscuits (30), moisten edges with water, and place about two tablespoons beef mixture in center of each on top of wheat germ. Top with remaining biscuits and press edges together to sea 1 .. Place on baking sheets and bake in a hot oven, 400 Degrees F. for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
