Raymond Baxter, vice president of the Blue Ball National Bank, was cited for making interest-free loans of up to $6OO available to FFA members at Garden Spot High School. The honor was bestowed on him by the Grassland FFA Chapter. Earl Martin, Ephrata Rl, owner of the Stevens Feed Mill, was honored by the Cloister Chapter for his contributions to their programs, including em ployment of seniors. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Long, Columbia R 3, were cited by the Penn Manor Chapter for having helped with numerous chapter activities. In addition, the farm couple was recognized for having three sons graduate from the vo-ag program and a fourth currently enrolled. Gerald Phillips, Willow Street, is a former vocational agriculture in structor from Lampeter- Strasburg High School who hasn’t been forgotten. The Garden Spot FFA Chapter made him their honorary Red Rose Degree recipient.
