Julie is the mother of four children, and was speaking her convictions at a parenting seminar spon sored by the Lancaster County Extension Service last week. She is one of the organizers of a parenting group in Landisville which meets regularly to discuss common problems of parenting, and has lanized ola: > " *S Q A Why are Huskee-Bilt general purpose buildings so popular 7 They are versatile and economical Plus we offer you a wide range of options multiple colors, big, wide doors, high eaves, stress rated lumbar, skilled crews and Huskee-Bilt reliability If you need a machine storage building, hay shelter, animal shelter or repair shop, you’ve got it in the Huskee-Biit General Purpose Building. Julie said, “Many mothers are feeling pressured in to sending their children to nursery school, and as 9 result there are some 2- and 3-year-old children going regularly to nursery school. If you really want them to go, send them one year before kindergarten - not for three years,” When children are forced into nursery schools at early ages, Julie contends, “They become disinterested in school and are no longer excited about formal education. Just as some children may lose their identity in a large family, they may become lost in a large group at a school or day care center. “You are your child’s first teacher,” Julie said. “A parent should create an environment for learning but not feel they must teach reading or other academics. In your home, teaching should not fit a time schedule. Do things when they are right for you. Parents have an enormous opportunity to influence children.” Julie said that even a simple act like'sor "BETTER-BILT" LAGOON PUMP VACUUM SPREADERS Sizes Available: 800 gal. 1100 gal. 1500 gal. 2100 gal. 2600 gal. 3100 gal. 3600 gal. 4000 gal.
