Placements of broiler chicks in the commonwealth were 2,135,000, seven per cent more than in the previous week. Average placements during the past ten weeks were 13 per cent above a year earlier. Placements of broiler chicks m the 21 poultry states were 73,429,000, one per cent above the previous week and four per cent more than the same week a year ago. Average placements of broiler chicks in the 21 states during the past ten weeks were four per cent above a year ago.
