SO^Uh^W'FaVa^ WHAT S NEW CORN HEADS MILWAUKEE, Wis. - New low profile, adjustable corn heads designed for maximum productivity are available from the AUis- Chalmers Corp. Numerous models of com heads, ranging from two to eight row sizes, are being manufactured, with in dividual row units adjustable two-inch either way from center. The low profile of the new headers will help to increase bushels per acre by getting under tangled or downed crop, says Allis Chalmers. Plus, the outer gathering sheets are gently sloped to minimize hair pinning and reduce whipping of downed stalks. The low angle rear section of center dividers also helps to reduce hair pinning. Built-in rubber ear deflectors direct ears into gathering channels. Long gathering chain lugs promote even, smooth flow up the snapping area and into the large 14 inch diameter auger. Guides for the chains extend up and over the chain for positive alignment, and the chain idlers feature sealed bearings for long, main tenance free operation. Bevel gear drives assure positive power to gathering chains and snapping rolls. The snapping roll area is also built to provide for maximum capacity. The rear of the area is almost two inches wider than the front to prevent bottlenecks in feeding. Snapping roll blades may be easily reversed for longer life and lower maintenance costs. profit partners that America’s crop farmers Call or write your distributor llaKf.Parfai l for name of closest dealer ICE” nart WCirHSr and literature * 1501 Ist Ave Agri-Division Mendota Illinois 61342 SEE OUR EXHIBIT AT THE AG PROGRESS SHOW.
