Rates and minimum premiums of the present Pennsylvania Workmen’s Compensation Law as they affect small family-type agricultural operations and other small businesses were discussed at length, and the committee’s actions will be conveyed to various state legislators. Proper disposal of sewage sludge was a major topic of discussion, and it was decided to have the com mittee's proposal for con tinuing research with this environmental sludge treatment plan be presented to the local, pomona, and state Grange units in the form of a resolution. The committee also requested legislative support for the appropriation request by- Pennsylvania State University as presented.
