Hess’ animal is a Charolais-Angus- Maine Anhou Cross, which was chosen to compete at Farm Show. This year’s showmanship title went to Gary Eberly, Denver R 2, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Eberly. For his ability to show his animal, Eberly won a Chianina Angus Cross, bred at Huntington Farms, Alexandria, Pa. This is the farming operation run by the judge, Herman Purdy.
