April 10,1976 Farm women briefed on OSHA After 10 to 15 years of exemption from regulatory requirements, farmers are coming under increased scrutiny, losing most of their previous exemptions as employers of labor, and literally being bombarded by a host of necessary ad justments in plant operations, bookkeeping and safety precautions. The facts of these issues were presented to four York County Farmers’ Association women at a state rally of Pennsylvania Farmers’ Association women in Lamar.
