, Walebe Farms shows champion HARRISBURG - Walebe Farms Inc., of Collcgevillc, won the grand championship in Jersey judging com petition at the 60th Farm Show with their 5-year-old cow, “Fairy MF Milads Cora.” The same animal also was judged senior champion. The reserve grand championship went to Walebe Farms with their 4- year-old, “Walebe Advancer Benn.” The entry was also judged the show’s reserve senior champion. Leon Sollenberger, of Everett, Bedford County, showed the junior champion, “Ralaine Kelly Wanda,” a junior yearling. “Walebe Kelly Sleeper,” a s:nior yearling owned by Karen Lynn Waltemyer, of Collegeville, captured the reserve junior cham pionship. Walebe Farms won the premier exhibitor award and Top-O-HiU Farm, of R 2, Downingtown, Chester County, won the premier breeder award. In the Jersey youth show, Bruce A. Andrien, Jr. of West Chester, showing “Top- O-Hill RH Miracle,” a 4- year-old, won the grand championship. Bruce is a member of the Chester Valley 4-H Dairy Club.
