Pre registration is necessary by November 28, 1975. The Philadelphia Belles will be the topic of the slide presentation by Emily Mae Gallagher who is Senior Home Service Represen tative of Philadelphia Electric Co. Miss Gallagher will talk about Philadelphia Area women who have contributed to our heritage. A one girl Fashion Show by Barbara Wray, a representative of Stitch ‘N Sew, will feature ideas for Society 8 Farm Women Society 8 met at the home of Mrs. Grace Blxler, November 15th. Miss Anna Mae Eby led the group in singing, and Mrs. Elizabeth Shuman turned our thoughts toward the Thanksgiving season through poems, Psalm 100, and a meaningful prayer. The group also paused for a moment of silent memory in honor of Mrs. Ada Greider who recently passed away. Ada had been a faithful member of the society for many years and had at tended the last meeting on Oct. 18th. For roll call members were asked to name a favorite piece of art. NEW! INNERSIDEBOX CONTACT For 19 yean the annual Trl—County Relief Sale haa been held at the same aite in Morgantown, the Junction of Routes 10 and 23. Each year greater crowds have come from farther and farteer distance*. Difficulties have arisen from the press of the crowds, and parking haa become a mammoth problem. The Relief Sale board, meeting recently to iron out some of these problems in • planning for the 1976 sale, concluded that the sale has outgrown the Morgantown site. Consequently, it has been decided to hold nett year’s sale at the Farm Show building in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania Governor Milton Shapp attended the 1975 sale, and has extended a welcome to the Harrisburg site. With his cooperation, the change has been facilitated. While the date has not yet been selected the sale is planned for the Spring. Readers are asked to watch for this an nouncemtnt. The annual one-day sale is sponsored by the Tri- President Grace Bizler reported on the program of the County Convention held Nov. Ist at Lancaster when 14 of our number attended. Vice president Mrs. Kathryn Heisey, Mrs. Kathryn Erb, and Miss Ruth Eby will represent our society at the State Convention, Jan. 5-6, 1976. Our next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Vera Frey on Dec. 13th in stead of Dec. 6tb, at 6:30 P.M. This will be a covered dish supper when husbands are special guests.
