Diane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Crider, spoke with deep sincerity about the meaning and value of the year she spent as spokesman for the dairy industry. Donna is an active member of the Lancaster County 4-H Holstein Gub and the So lan co Community club and serves as a member of the 4-H County Council. She is a member of Calvary Independent Church at Mechanics Grove where she sings in the adult choir. At Solan co High School, Donna is a member of the National Honor Society, the Future Business Leaders of America, the student senate, and is on the staff of the school paper. Boyd Gartley, farm relations director for Inter State Milk Producers Cooperative, Philadelphia, interviewed the contestants on stage. Judges for the contest were Mrs. Kenneth Hoover, department head - home economics, Warwick High School; Miss Trudy Malasavage, assistant ex tension home economist, Schulykill County; and Dr. Robert Herr, department head • vocational agriculture, Garden Spot School District. Organ music and en tertainment was provided by Mrs. Marian Garber, Elizabethtown. Chairmen of the event were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gregory, Other committee members in cluded Mr. and Mrs. N. Alan Bair, C.P. Brantly, Milton Brubaker, William Deisley, Mrs. Kauffman, Robert H. Keen, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Hershey, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Witmer.
