Lancaster The Lancaster County Dairy Princess Contest will take place on June 21 at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center. The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7:00 p.m. Mias Diane M. Crider, the 1974 Princess will crown her successor following the dinner.. The contestants are as follows: Donna Ackers, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Akers, Quarryville Rl. The 16 year-old miss will be a senior this coming fall AND FEED BINS at Solanco High School. Donna is a member of the Lancaster County 4-H Holstein Club and the Solanco Community 4-H Club. As a teen leader she has served as a represen tative to the Lancaster County 4-H Council and is an active member of the Calvary Independent Church. Debra Crider is the 16 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Crider, Not tingham R 2. Debra will also be a senior at Solanco High School. Cinder, Elizabethtwon R 3. The 17 year-old miss will be a senior at Manheim Central High School in the fall. Ruby has been a member of the Lancaster County Holstein Club and has been quite active in the Manheim FFA Chapter. Linda is a recent graduate of Elizabethtwon High School, where she was a member of the band front and chorus. A 17 year-old 4-Her, Linda is a member of the Lancaster County 4-H Holstein Club and the Lancaster County Council for 4-H. She is also a member of the Mt. Joy Sewing Club. Jane McSparran, is the 17 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. McSparran, Peach Bottom R 2. Jane, who served as FFA Sweetheart during the year will be a senior at Solanco High School. She is a member of the Solanco 4-H Community Club and the County Guernsey 4-H Club. A member of the Solanco Band and newspaper staff, the young lady is also involved in work at toe Chestnut Level Church. mmm Michelle Ann Skiles, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Skiles Narvon R 2. She will be a senior at Pequea Valley High School. Michelle has been a member of toe Pequea Valley Student council along with being in the band and the chorus. A member of the National Honor Society, the 17 year old miss is also active in the Baptist Youth Fellowship. Sue Umble, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vemon Umble, Christiana Rl. A graduate of Mennonite High School, Sue has been an active member of the Maple Grove Church and youth group and was on the senior high volleyball team.
