50 —Lancaster Farming. Saturday. Oct 5. 1974 Chester 4-H Goat Show Two o! the top three honors at the Chester County 4-H Goat Show were captured by Richard Stoneback, Oxford. Stoneback exhibited the grand champion animal while being Judged grand champion showman. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Stoneback. Sarah Weinstock, Phoenixville, won the other top honor by being named grand chmpion fitter for the show. She also exhibited the reserve grand champion animal. Her brothers Michael and Joshua were named champion junior and first year fitter respectively. Michael also exhibited the junior champion goat while his sister Rachel, exhibited the reserve junior champin goat. Other results of the show included: Junior Kid Class (Goats 6 months of age and younger) blue ribbons for superior quality animals were awarded to Sarah Weinstock and Richard Stoneback. Results in the fitting c'ass, based on members’ ability to prepare goats for show: blue ribbons for superior ability were presented to Sarah, Rachel, Jonathan, Michael, and Joshua Weinstock, Janet Latshaw, Alison Scheib, Ricky Cathcart, and Mark Meek. A red ribbon for ex cellent ability was awarded to Edgar Latshaw. National 4-H Congress will be the scene for the unveiling of a special photography ex hibition. The Ist Annual Na tional 4-H Photography Ex hibition will be on display in Chicago throughout the week and will feature photos taken by 4-H members nationwide. The annual exhibition is sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company, the Cooperative Extension Service, National 4-H Foundation and the Na tional 4-H Service Commit tee. Photos were selected in county and state exhibitions earlier this summer.
