I suppose that - I shouldn’t be though, as* my husband thinks I have' a bad memory for roads. But, this is only in comparison to his knowledge. I’ye often told people that he has “maps in his head’’ and 1 mean it. He remembers each turn in a road even if he hasn’t driven it for twenty or twenty-five years. In regard to-following directions, a funny incident happened to me when I was a ' teen-ager.'My sisters and I had been invited county for a “sing” by some school chums who we hadn’t seen for years. They gave us a long list of directions-in cluding one important place called a Ghix factory. Well, we were doing fine .except we couldn’t find the factory to make the next turn. To make things worse a car began to follow us and we were almost an hour late. We drove around the block in a small town and then around again but the car still followed us. It was the small brother, of the girls who invited us and Rinehart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leßoy Rinehart, East Berlin RD2. Master of Ceremonies was Robert L. Jones, County Agent for Carroll- County, Md. Judges were Mrs. Carl - S. Miller, Berks County dairy farm wife; Mrs. N. Alan Bair, feature writer for Lancaster farming and Michael Young',' special program director for the Pennsylvania Holstein Association. Entertainment was provided by the Singing Miller family of Great View Farm, Dauphin County. i^fgtoupjbt :.ona ■v , lost oil ,the two hour' hike ' through the beautiful wqwled areaand amvedbne hour late for lunch; * My only- wig slowing the grout) down so"! could point q%the/wfld: rows, the - bloom,' : the' J larchtrees.Tliby led merrychaseas they dashed^ Stat5 ert *m, * “I “cramd? dSSSd“d' svJa&n.s. a*?* wbere * hoihe we learned that the '- >: Our factory was a; hatchery what’.
