Fulton Grange No. 66 Fulton Grange Number 66 held their regular meeting May 13 in the Grange Hall at Oakryn with the Master Charles McSparran con ducting the business session. The following were ap pointed to instigate minor road repairs at a location on Route 222 in Fulton Town ship to reduce highway accidents: Clifford W. Holloway Jr., Sherman Hill and Jesse Wood. The Chaplain Gyles Brown will be in charge of the an nual Go-to-Church service to be held Sunday, May 19, 8 p.m. at Fulton Grange Hall. The Rev. Kenneth R. Hill, Beavertown, Pa. will be the speaker and Mrs. Harold. J. Lindecamp will be soloist. A covered dish supper will precede the service at 7 p.m. with the following in charge: Mrs. Freeda Huber, Mrs. Jesse Wood and Mrs. Susan Fite. Rolls, butter and beverage will be provided. Grangers and friends should bring a meat dish, another dish and their own place settings. The public is in vited to attend both the supper and the worship service. Fulton Grange members will assist in the presentation of the program for Region E Pomona District visitation meeting to be held Saturday, May 18, 8 p.m. at Tyro Grange Hall, Buckingham, Bucks Co. Buckingham is located at the intersection of Routes 202 and 413, near Doylestown. All Lancaster Co. Granges as well as the Granges in Chester- Delaware Pomona, Mon tgomery and Lower Bucks counties comprise Region E and will participate in this meeting. Several delegates from Fulton Grange will attend the Pa. State Grange Leadership School to be held at Gettysburg College June 25, 26 and 27. Fulton Grange is presenting copies of their recently published Cen tennial booklet to the libraries of the Solanco Lancaster Farming, Saturday, May 18,1974 — Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools and the Lancaster Public Library, also to the Lancaster Co. and the Pa. Historical Societies. It contains histories of Fulton Subordinate and Junior Granges, the Pa. State Grange and the National Grange, stories of Oakryn Hall, the Norman Wood bridge, the Southern 1 Lancaster Co. Family Health Center and 90 photos of past Masters and per sonalities of Fulton Grange as well as many activities of Fulton Grange. A plaque in recognition of 100 years of community service was presented to Fulton Grange from the National Grange and a resolution adopted by the Senate of Pennsylvania in recognition of 100 years of community service was read at this meeting. Mrs. George Hough was cited for her exceptionally fine paintings of murals for the centennial celebration. Norman Wood will represent Fulton Grange at the Bicentennial planning meeting to be held at Mt. Eden Lutheran Church May 30, 7:30 p.m. This meeting marked the end of the county Grange visitation meetings for this Grange year. Mrs. Richard Maule, Lecturer of Colerain Grange Number 1667, presented the program on the theme “Goals”: Group singing, accompanied by Mrs. Melvin C. Boyce, “America The Beautiful.” Smile! Melvin Boyce, Master of Colerain Grange, presented goals of Colerain Grange and Charles McSparran, Master of Fulton Grange, presented goals of Fulton Grange for this year. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eamhart, Oxford Grange, Chester Co. gave remarks. The annual memorial service and a dedication of the Peter Fry memorial rug will take place at the nexi meeting May 27.
