Brubaker I-mcaster Pa A greatly appreciated program was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Steelman. It consisted of an informal presentation of English Flute music, poems, vocal duets and solos. Highlights were "Mocking Bird Hill” with a "bird" singing along, and their finale "How Great Thou Art”. They also told about the weaving they do. Sara was wearing a dress of hand woven material with Jack wearing a matching tie. The meeting closed with the theme song of Farm Women, “Brighten the Comer Where You Are.” The next meeting will be held at the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren on June 1. At this meeting Society 22 and the county officers will be entertained. Society 7 Farm Women Society 7 held their meeting on April 13 at the home of Mrs. Aaron Johnson. Mrs. Raymond Eshelman led the devotions. Dr. Wilson from St. Joseph’s Hospital gave a very interesting talk on the St. Joseph’s -new mobile intensive care ambulance. Society 7 donated $25 for the ambulance. Society 6 and 7 entertained the guests at Conestoga View in April. Six women from Society 7 attended the Spring Rally in York on May 8. The next meeting will be a v plant and food sale at the home of Mrs. Harold Eby, Kinzer RD, on May 11 at 2:00 p.m. Co-hostesses will be Mrs. Chester Clark and Mrs. Paul Skiles. Roll call will be “Your favorite TV program.” TRY A CLASSIFIED AD Hersheypark Opens New Season May 18 Hersheypark will open for its 68th season, and its third year under the new "theme park" image, Saturday, May 18 at 10:30 A.M. In only two years of redevelopment, Hersheypark has been among the top 15 amusement parks in the United States. Hersheypark is a cultural themed family recreation center featuring accents on German, English and Pennsylvania Dutch lifestyles. Hersheypark is building a mini-world of lifestyles recreating a taste, touch and feel retrospective look at America’s historical past. The 1974 summer season at Hershey park will offer not only the best family en tertainment, but also cultural themed areas, 33 amusement rides and delicious food. Hersheypark comprises four cultural themed area - Tudor Square, a 17th century English Village - Rhine Land, an 18th century German town - Der Deit schplatz, a 19th century Pennsylvania Dutch Place - and the Animal Garden, a place for people to walk freely among the animals. Hersheypark abounds with music, song, dance and laughter. Sprinkled throughout all of Her sheypark’s 65 acres will be a wide range of en tertainment for the entire family. The all-family recreation center of the northeastern United States spotlights everything from the name entertainers, strolling costumed characters. performing Dolphins, magic spectaculars, and waters that dance.
