Recently at a club meeting I for Fuel Savings Next Season! ■J Smart move. Even though the current heating season is nearly over, it’s not too late (or too soon) to plan greater savings of fuel and money in the future. Adding insulation to your home is one of the best things you can do. Now that the weather’s getting warmer, it’s the perfect time to check the amount of insulation in your home. If there's a thickness of less than 6 inches in the attic and 3Vz inches in the walls, it’ll pay you to add the extra amount needed. Check any spots that seemed particularly cold this winter, too . . . perhaps they are areas containing no insulation at ail. Remember, it takes a lot more fuel to heat an uninsulated home. No one has energy to waste or money to burn. The way to reduce fuel costs in the future is to insulate now!
