May 26, 1973 16 Sharon Guest, Pottstown, IFYE Delegate Sharon Guest, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Vernon Guest, Pottstown RD, is in Sweden as an International Farm Youth Ex change (IFYE) delegate. She is one of about 80 delegates selected nationally to participate in this cultural exchange program. Approximately 65 countries participate in the program an nually. During her six months in Sweden, Sharon will be accepted as a member of several different families; she will be living and working with them and learning their way of life. When she returns home, Sharon will be sharing her experiences with local groups and with individuals in her community. The IFYE program is con ducted by the National 4-H Club Foundation in behalf of the Cooperative Extension Service and the United States Depart ment of Agriculture. It depends upon the support and interest of local people. Reynolds, Avondale; Allen Lee Stoltzfus, Honey Brook; Mrs. Gideon K. Stoltzfus, Atglen, and Leon K. Wilkinson, Landenberg. Sharon grew up on her parents’ dairy farm near Nantmeal Village. She was a member and teen leader of the Chester County 4-H Black and* White Dairy Club. In addition to raising and showing cattle, she also enjoys horseback riding. At the Coventryville United Methodist Church, Sharon served as secretary-treasurer of the Sunday School, and also taught the third and fourth grade class. Sharon enjoys music too, having been a band member for six years. - After graduating from Owen J.
