Zimmerman’s turkeys win 3 state championships HARRISBURG Leroy Zimmerman, East Earl Rl, won three of four cham pionships offered in the State Farm Show turkey competition here Friday. Zimmerman, the coun ty’s largest grower, won the champion turkey, best female and beat display awards. The champion and best female honors went on a heavy young bronze hen. Gantt Turkey Farm, Newport, Perry County, exhibited the reserve champion and best male turkey, a heavy young bronze tom. Wins Two Classes Zimmerman won two turkey classes.
