Delfaiarva reported prices of 13.7 to 15.5 at farms for 892,- 100 head purchased during the period. The purchases includ ed 308,000 head sold at Thurs day’s - auction in Selbyville, Del. Demand was good for light auction offerings. Estimated slaughter .by Eastern Shore processors for the week end was 454,000 head compared to the 583,000 head last week end.' The" Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending Nov ember 15 was steady with the previous week at 3.3. Broilers during the week aver aged 16.60 per pound and mash cost the grower $99.34 per ton. . The ratio for the compar able week a year ago was 2.8 when broilers averaged 13.27 and mash cost the grow er $95.23 per ton. Use a high-backed bench placed at a strategic place along a garden 'path to give accent to a large yard or to provide an excuse-for a small cutting garden.
