To avoid this problem, a way was found to process the new small canned hams safely at low er temperatures. Like the usual laige canned hams, they have good flavor, little excess liquid in the can, and must be stored in the refrigerator. / I Production of these hams is just beginning. They should be popular with those who like the convenience of ready-to-serve boneless hams but find the six pound hams too large. A homemaker may like to have a small canned ham m the refrig erator for a quick meal. The ham shces most easily when cold. Bank u with homemade potato salad for a buffet supper. Cold or hot, a 1/a pound canned ham should seive four to six people To save time when seving it hot, remove ham from the can, slice thin, tie slices together with a string, and cover with brown sugar or with pineapple or apricot preserves for a glaze. Or garnish with can ned pineapple shces, canned pear or peach halves, or cooked dried pumes. Heat in the over at 325 degrees until the meat is heated through to the center.
