Returning from Jamestown, 7a., where she participated in a national “dairy - industry - birth lay - party” Miss Shannon pre sented the Governor with an earthenwear milk-pan, over 350 years old and originally brought over by the first English settlers to arrive at James Point, Va. The milk-pan was loaned to the Penn sylvania State Capital Museum for Tune Dairy Month by the Colonial Historical Paik, Williamsburg, Va., and will be on display in the capital museum throughout June Dairy Month. The Governor also received an authentic reproduction of a table setting, including a 350-year-old milk jug, milk-pan and two milk cups, produced by the Williams burg Pottery Factory especially for the Pennsylvania June Dairy Month event. Miss Shannon is currently tour ing Pennsylvania on a personal appearance schedule at various June Dairy Month events.
