Glbble, R 2 Manheim .11, V, Six eggs, separated, (about) One-half cup yolks and three fourths cup whites One-half cup cold water One and one-thir-d cup granu lated sugar One-half teaspoon vanilla One-half teaspoon orange ex tract One-half teaspoon almond flav oring One- and one-half eups sifted cake flour • , One-half teaspoon salt Three-fourths teaspoon cream of tartar Beat egg yolks until thick, add water and beat until thick Add sugar gradually, beating con stantly about 10 minutes with mixer at highest speed Fold in flavorings. Sift flour and salt together three times. Carefully fold into the yolk mixture Beat egg whites until foamy, add cream of tartar, beat until stiff enough to form peaks. Fold into batter Pour into an ungreased 10- mch angel food pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degiees) about one hour. Invert and let cool for about an hour.
