The Lit, pLo0Z, Festival invites one and all to PARTICIPATE in the “OPEN MIKE” READING. Bring your own creative works and plan to read, recite, chant, narrate, rap, sing, croon, intone, declaim! Or just come to cheer and stomp for our guest readers and your friends. One cannot cheerfully eat poetry or prose: there will be refreshments. Mihaela Moscaliuc’'s first poetry collection, Father Dirt (winner of the Kinereth Gensler Award), was published by Alice James Books in 2010. Her poems, reviews, translations and articles appear in numerous important poetry journals, including The Georgia Review, Prairie Schooner, TriQuarterly, New Letters, Poetry International, Arts & Letters, Pleiades, Connecticut Review, America, Absinthe, West Branch, Mid- American Review Interculturality and Translation, and Orient and Orientalisms in American Poetry and Poetics.
