Large Conference Room All Are Invited! Activities Fee Committee Reports '97-°98 Allocations You may have noticed on your Fall semester bill that in addi- tion to tuition you are paying two other costs: a Computer Fee and an Activity Fee. The latter is a $31.00 per semester fee which will yield approximately $90,000 for students to spend on co-curricular and extra- curricular activities at Penn State Delaware County during "98-99. How does that money get spent? A campus Allocation Com- mittee reviews proposals by student clubs and organizations, academic classes, or individual students, fac- - ulty and staff at their meetings every two weeks, and votes to determine how the money will be allocated. The Allocation Committee is made up of seven students (includ- ing the Student Government Asso- ciation President) and two to three alternates, as well as three faculty/ staff (including the Coordinator of Student Life). New members, espe- cially freshmen, are needed. If you would like to help allocate $90,000 this year, contact co-chairs SGA President Marty Ranalli (892-1240) or Coordinator of Student Life Bar- bara Daniel (892-1457) right away. The first Allocation Committee meeting is Tuesday, September 8 at 4:00 PM in the Lion’s Den. The charts below show how the campus spent last year’s Activity Fee total of $63.884, as well as the $17,124 carry-over from the previ- ous year.
