Six headline concerts and more than 100 Jazz events at various venues around the clock and city are scheduled from February 17-21. Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela are among the many stars performing. The festival includes something for everyone: brunches, teas, workshops, artifacts, jazz for kids, jam sessions, poetry and the African- American Marketplace among others. Theater The historic Hedgerow Theater in Rose Valley, presents the gripping American classic “View from the Bridge” by Aurthur Miller, running through March 12. Miller’s play deals with the tragic circumstances affecting a family when a longshoreman must come to terms with his misplaced affection for his adopted niece, as she falls in love with an illegal immigrant he is helping to harbor.
