An arsonist’s spite desecrated Delaware County’s theatrical mecca in November of 1985. Through generous donations and endless hours of labor, Hedgerow Theatre productions are back on stage. September marks nine months since the reopening. Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream, will be performed at Hedgerow until October 26th. British mystery writer Agatha Christie's The Hollow runs from October 31st until December 21st. The Fantasticks, by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, rings in the New Year from December 26th to February 1st. Arthur Miller's classic, The Crucible, isto be performed February 13th through March 21st. Taking the stage in the Spring of 1992 will be Moliere’s The Misanthrope. For the high caliber of entertainment offered at the Hedgerow Theater, the ticket prices are a great bargain. A Thursday evening performance is $8, Friday $12, Saturday $14, and Twilight Saturday is $10. If that isn’t enough of a deal, take off $2 for students and senior citizens.
